Nice to see the music happening. I’d still be sporting a mask when out and about tbh. Lovely memorial. So which concert are you going to?? Poor Alan Cummings is here and half the country went into lockdown….so imaging doing 2 weeks hotel quarantine and then getting caught up in that??
Thanks so much, Natasha. Masks are only required in shops and on public transport now, and all restrictions are due to end on July 19th. Fingers crossed! As for the concerts, bring ’em on!
Hi Keith – well it all looks bright, very cheerful and clean – while the reminder memorial tree is so important – I’m waiting for the sun! Cheers Hilary
Great to to see all these people enjoying the beach, and parking lots full! Had never anticipated the effect on one’s mood seeing empty. By the way MANY MANY THANKS for your explanation how to use the classic editor your way – I just did not know there was that! Have a great week:) Jeshie2
Lovely photos, and it looks like people are observing social distancing. The majority are here in Plymouth too. We went into town today to collect my new glasses and even had lunch in M&S. The first time I have eaten inside since the start of the pandemic.
The seagull looks glad that things are returning to normal too.
Wonderful Keith. Wish I were there. Eldest Daughter in SW L, took a turn Winstable side for a few days. Hoping to join up Friday Fictionneers in the autumn. Wishing you a restful, lively, ‘normal’ summer. Take care. Susan from France.
I’m glad that they’re returning to normal, albeit slowly.

The little copper tree is very special. I took those pictures on Saturday and I’ve not seen the sun since! Thanks, Hilary.

I will still continue to wear a mask indoors. We have lots of folks who refuse to vaccinate.
Love the seagull in the trash can!

We too have lots of anti-vaxxers. Why, I don’t know.
The seagulls are as pleased as we are that normality is returning, they’ve missed their food pickings!

What a lovely place for her to go. I do hope you join the FF gang, it’s enormous fun. By the way, I really miss the years I spent living in France.
