Hi Keith – it’s amazing to be able to ‘sit’ in the middle of a bluebell wood, with the sun peering through, bring leaves to glorious greens … and then the scents a wood of blue … gorgeous photos – cheers Hilary
They are beautiful. Growing up I used to walk our dogs in a beautiful and very old bluebell woods. The council in their wisdom decided to take down all the lovely old trees and built the Devon Expressway there as a main route into Cornwall. Now instead of a sea of blue there is usually bumper to bumper traffic. https://allatseawithme.blogspot.com/2021/05/wordless-wednesday-parthenon.html
Wow they are brilliant captures and so effective too 🙂
Have an artistictastic week 👍

So that’s what bluebells look like. I’ve never seen them before, but I’ve heard about them in many stories.

That’s exactly what they look like. But I can’t convey through pictures the amazing smell you experience when surrounded by them. Cheers.

Sadly, it’s a very short season. I only wish they lasted all year long.

Oh, that’s such a shame! There’s nothing like a stroll among the bluebells.
