A twiddle of her earlobe means she’s about to become profound.
‘I’ve been travelling the train-track of life’ she said.
‘What?
‘Starts, stops, rises and falls’
‘So …’
‘It made decisions for me’
‘Okay’
‘Then suddenly …’
‘Yes? ‘
‘…it came to an end’
‘Really?’
‘Left me dangling’
‘Oh dear’
‘It was a message’
‘A message?’
‘Time to get off, choose my own destinations’
‘Did you?’
‘Of course. I’m a different person now’
‘You look the same to me’
‘Within, not without’
‘Oh’
‘For a start, I’m having curry tonight not my usual Chinese!’
‘Wow!’
‘Yea, join me?’
‘Can’t, got a train to catch’
.
Thanks to Rochelle for hosting and to Alicia Jamtaas for the picture.

And finally – I came across Froggie in the park yesterday looking rather chilly!
PS. Don’t worry, it’s a sculpture!
Good story!

Wry twist there at the end. Curry instead of Chinese sounds like a great choice to me 🙂

Dear Keith,
Curry sounds good. 😉 But I love a good Chinese meal, too. Cute story.

I like that the end of the railway means it’s time to take matters into your own hands… It’s never too late to do so!
I really liked this. And I would have stayed for the curry 🙂

Not always easy, we often get stuck in our old ways. Mine’s a chicken jalfrezi, yours?

No, it’s not and yes, we do. Lemme see… Mine’s Biryani…

Great conversation here. It’s not always easy to change spars, but sometimes the new track leads to better places.

A good idea to get off – not a lot of choice of destination on the train tracks.

yep, the story of life. No use sitting on the train station platform if you do not have a destination in mind. The first choice in life is to buy a ticket.
