Glad you enjoyed it. We were lowland Scots, so I don’t think my ancestors ate haggis. I don’t find it on my bucket list anywhere, either. 😉

Hi Keith … well done – I’ve kept back the haggis … as I got distracted with other veg around … so I’ll have it in February … and with a whole roast turnip … something slightly different. Looks good … I’m not a fan of whisky … just sad we can’t have a party for Burns Night … all the best – Hilary

A couple of years ago I spent a Burn’s Night in a Scottish pub, and that was special! Stay safe Hilary.

Looks good. Not the whiskey though. Never acquired that taste. You can have mine.

I learned a new word: “Sassenach”

Assuming we lived in New Castle Upon Tyne (briefly) and I enjoy the English culture I would have thought I’d heard this term before.

I’m so grateful for the global blogging community. I learn something new each time. 🙂

Happy weekend, Keith. I hope you meet some people soon, as the vaccine shows signs of progress.

    Love and Warn wishes always.

I had a feeling that word would send people Googling for an explanation! Like you, I’ve picked up all sorts of bits and pieces from our fellow bloggers! Thanks so much Natasha.
