for Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt where the given word is Nomad and the word limit 68.
Damon always fancied being a nomad.
‘I’m going to work my way through a guide book, from the back page to the front one’ he told me.
‘Why?’ I asked, ‘that’s mad’.
‘No, it’s not’ he replied. ‘Anyway, there’s no going back now’.
Yesterday he stood on the edge of a ravine facing the wrong way. Unfortunately, he stepped backwards, so Damon the Nomad’s a nomad no more.
Sounds like one of those folks who fall into the Grand Canyon. When I was there, they were searching for someone who had disappeared. Scary.

It certainly must have been Denise. Not something I’d like to witness.

There’s a reason the guidebook has a front to start with, too bad he didn’t learn that early. Great tale!

Dear Keith,
It’s one thing to be a wanderer and quite another to be directionally challenged. Ynnuf.

He said there was no going back. He should have listened to himself. 😦

My heart goes out to the wife still waiting for the ship to return, to a mother who is optimistic about the return of the ship that will carry the father of her child, back. It made my heart go out to all my friends and their families who are into Merchant Navy. Sigh!
One word I knew today was “Keith” and wish to tell you that it’s not old and outdated. It’s new and rocking!!!
