for Sunday Photo Fiction.
I saw an angel yesterday … don’t laugh, I did!
Where? On the church tower. She was sitting there with her legs dangling down … what?
No, not the pointy bit. She would hardly sit on the pointy bit, would she?
Why are you grinning? I didn’t imagine her. I was out running … why are you laughing?
I need to run now and again because it’s good for my knees and if you don’t take me seriously I’ll bend you over one and give you a good spanking!
That’s better, thank you. As I was saying … what was I saying?
Oh yes this girl, no, this angel was smiling at me and … what do you mean ‘how do you know she was an angel?’
Because she had a label stuck on her back saying ‘made in heaven’ – duuuh! Of course she was a bloody angel, she had wings.
As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, I waved to her then she … what now?
Yes, I had stopped at the pub, well, two pubs actually, so what? … oh, I give up.

I enjoyed your ramble. I just had a time getting here – the mystic forces at the link up wouldn’t let me get to your site directly. And the comment says the title of this piece is ‘a little bit of nonsense’ not ‘I saw an angel’…. Strange forces must be at work – indeed!

Strange forces indeed! The ‘nonsense’ bit has magically reappeared – the ‘angel’ bit is a subtitle! Anyway, thanks for dropping by Jules, much appreciated.

I have a ‘back door’ – I have a list of my Blogging friends and their sites. So when I’m ‘stuck’ I can go there and retrieve the site address. Not sure what Inzlink is up too. But I get a bunch of email from them that I just ignore. I’ll choose who I visit by myself thank you…
It has been a cold if not all that snowy winter. But I get my four seasons and I’m happy with them all. And March 8 (in the States) we have to mess with changing our clocks again… so the day light will extend into the evening. It will be darker in the mornings for a bit – but I usually don’t have to get up before the sun 😉

InLinkz does seem to have a mind of it’s own. Like you, I have a blogroll just in case.
Here in the UK our clocks spring forward on March 29, so quite a way to go.

We used to have a later date for ‘Springing ahead’ Actually now we have about 8 months of Daylight Savings as we ‘Fall Back’ November 1.

Good story Keith. What if they don’t believe you, you know what you saw!

A couple more pints and she’d have been riding a unicorn 🙂

Be careful when you see an angel, if you laugh, it might report you at headquarters as being irreverent!

I hadn’t thought of that!
