for Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt where the given word is Epoch and the word limit just 27.
As epochs go it was hardly humongous, but discovering my friend Rosey was certainly life-changing for me – and my muse! You’ll never believe what she did yesterday….
*My friend Rosey has featured in over a hundred of my stories, many of which can be found here.
.
This is definitely a hook! Now, what did happen?? You’ll have to tell us. 😉

I’d better think of something now!

This is interesting! Is she a real person or an imaginary friend?

Please don’t tell anybody, but she’s a figment of my overactive imagination!

I won’t! She appears to have a positive effect on your writing.

You are such a brat! Thank goodness for Rosey – she swoops in with a flourish when needed!

…and when she’s not! And you think I’m the brat!

I love this. Best thing I have read in some time. Love the moving picture.

I went and looked at a few Rosey stories, I’m glad I met her.

What a lovely compliment, thanks so much, Ted.
I’m still in the process of moving Rosey’s site from Blogger to WordPress, so it’s a bit of a work in progress, but I can’t thank you enough for reading so many of my Rosey stories.

I thought they were very engaging. She came alive, what does she think of her stories? I could see then in a bound work, like with a pen and ink drawing or scribble.

The first few stories were about a friend of a friend, and she loved them. After that I put her in situations which were vaguely based on fact, and now they are pure fiction! With eleven years-worth of stories in hand., I’m thinking of somehow linking them together to form onelong tale worthy of publishing. We’ll see!

Dear Keith,
You cheeky devil, leaving the readers hanging like that. 😉

Blame it on Sammi and her word limit – it’s even more difficult to finish a story than with your 100-word allowance at FF!

You did write a story. You just added a cliff-hanger to it. Worked on me.

We do need the rest of the story, and maybe you need to write a whole book.

Funny you should mention the book, Mimi!

So, there is thought to that?

Hi Keith – it threw my idea out … not sure if it was you, the ghost or Rosie … suspect it was just pie in the sky thing – the net! I decided that Rosey would never want to leave you … so she was busy turning all her stories, and those not yet published, into a book – always connected! Cheers Hilary
