Words on a Wednesday …

for Friday Fictioneers

BGMy friend Rosey and I love visiting Farmer Fred.

Once Rosey tried milking a cow and squirted herself in the eye.  Another time, whilst stroking a lamb a ram butted her back-side!  As for her five-legged horse…!

Last time, we drove across the fields.  I had the tractor, Fred, his Landrover, Rosey a 4×4 buggy.  ‘Race you to the barn’ she said shooting off into the distance!

Unfortunately, she missed the brake pedal and careered straight through the barn doors.

We eventually caught up to see her grinning head poking out of a heap of hay!

We are going again Saturday.

    Dear Keith,

It sounds like you keep Rosey around for sheer entertainment. Cute story. I laughed at the ram butting her back-side.

    Shalom,

    Rochelle

With her way around animals, she sure sounds like a real city girl !

Rosey! I just noticed you animated her smile, which shows up in her story. I do love Rosey! 🙂

Rosey was lucky on two counts; getting the 4×4 and surviving it! Love your Rosey stories. I was a little startled by Rosey’s unexpected smile (and maybe a little creeped), but loved that too!! =)

She’s far luckier than she deserves to be, time and time again! I’ll reprimand her for creeping you out!

Well, she won! Has she always been animated or is that a recent thing?

Rosey’s a bit too much Lisa Douglas for Oliver’s world. That’s such a very nice picture of her, and I’ve just noticed her smile is moving

What a beautiful little story. Its short sentences remind me of children’s fiction. Do you write Children’s stories? congratulations.

Humour and happiness – what a winning combination! And heaps of hay are so erotic, don’t you think? A bit scratchy, but great fun!

Those horses have some long… legs.

Every time I read about Rosey, I can’t help but think how well we would get along.

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
