When my friend Rosey downsized to a smaller apartment, her vast collection of bits and pieces didn’t fit, so many of them ended up storage, or prison as she calls it! She visits them now and again so they don’t feel unloved.
When she went the other day, most of the lights weren’t working. As she felt her way past Cell 16 she had the fright of her life. Through the gloom, she thought she saw a huge gaping mouthful of ugly gappy teeth!
She screamed, and the lights flickered into life. Then she giggled. It was a piano!
Oh, Rosey!
Thanks to Rochelle for hosting and to J Hardy Carroll for the picture.
Prod the frog (if you dare) to see other’s stories!
A prison so that they don’t get away.

Dear Keith,
Rosey’s a corker, isn’t she? Cute story and a very different frog this week.

My nephew fed my Mum’s piano keyboard cake as he thought it was a huge mouth. Good fun tale Keith

We’ve been having a loft clearout this week, so I can relate to Rosey – so much good stuff boxed up and unloved, just don’t have the space for it all!

Done that and taken it all to a boot sale! Cheers Iain

Good piece, the piano is one of the fiercest of the instruments, second only to the zither

Some things do look scary in the dark that are fine when it’s light. Tell Rosey it’s okay to bring a flashlight or torch!

Like I tell all my stuff: “Behave, or risk eviction or … worse yet … storage prison!” 😉
To be fair, I don’t personally have a storage unit, but I know many who do, and for many of them it is indeed like condemning their possessions to a ‘prison sentence’ of usually predetermined (and often much extended later on) ‘stay’…

I had one for quite a while until I realised I was wasting money paying for a unit to store things I’d never have a use for again – so I gave them a pardon and an early release!

Better that than sitting down to the “piano” and getting eaten by a huge gaping mouthful of ugly gappy teeth 🙂
