    I liked the way you built tension with repeated interjections to the narrative. The clever bit was using them to draw the character of the speaker. Nice work, Keith!

    It’s easy to get houses mixed up. A good thing he’s not a tour guide. Hilarious, Keith. How come that “Scottish bloke” is associated with so many murders? Of course, he is a writer. We know they can be a bit weird. A good story and well-written dialogue. 😀 — Suzanne

    I love this, and it reminds me of a skit used in several of the old Charlie Chan movies, where Charlie meets up with an old friend, and they start to catch up with each other’s lives, but each one gets only a few words in before the other guy answers or responds — getting in only a few words — before the first guy does the same. And to them the whole conversation makes sense, of course. It goes on for about 4 or 5 minutes in each of the movies, and they never do finish one sentence until they say “Goodbye.”
