Beautiful photos! Doesn’t look like the 7 Sisters in Oregon! Must be another 7 Sisters. 🙂

Hi Keith – I’ll never be able to post a crummy iphone photo again about those beautiful Downs just up there! Fantastic photos … mind you it might be wet up there now! It is just the most stunning area – gorgeous to be able to access it so easily … cheers Hilary

You are even closer than me, but it’s only a bus hop away. No matter where I’ve travelled to, when I come home I can’t wait to get up there again!

There are some very steep slopes in places but it’s worth the effort! Thanks Jeanna

Absolutely stunning! The ledge is so sharp and such a drop that I get a twinge of anxiety looking at it!

The highest one is Beachy Head, which is my last photo and it’s 600 feet high. Sadly it’s also the UK’s most used suicide spot.

What a beautiful place to take a stroll or just sit awhile and absorb the beauty of creation. Have a blessed day.

I am curious about the name, 7 sisters. Here in India, the seven North Eastern States are called 7 sisters. Though I have not visited that part of my country, I have learnt that its beautiful too!
7 sisters at your end are damn pretty!

It is a series of seven chalk cliffs, but why they are called Sisters no-one knows. In Greek mythology Atlas had seven daughters but I don’t know if there’s a connection. Thanks Anagha.

If you’re going to take a stroll, that would be the place to do it – beautiful!

It’s perfect, although some of the slopes are a little on the steep side!

These are beautiful photos! I have to say you were a lot closer to the edge in the last ones than I dared to go when we were there last year.

I’m not too keen on getting close especially as there are no fences – 600 feet is a long way down!

These cliffs almost look like paintings, Keith! But, they’re very beautiful and I’m glad you shared them with us and linked up for our #ww blog hop. I come from that part of the country in India where we have seven North-Eastern states that are collectively called the Seven Sisters, so, initially, I was a bit intrigued when I first read your post title. Hope to see you link up in the coming weeks too! Happy Wednesday and a lovely rest of the week.
