Clutching my wife’s shopping list, I headed for the mall. Suddenly the wind snatched it from my hand. It disappeared from view pressed against a car windscreen. Unfortunately, I hadn’t read it. Being in urgent need of a pee, I thought I’d call home from the public loo.

As I started dialling my mobile shot into the toilet just as the flush kicked in. I decided to drown my sorrows at the pub.

Bob was there, looking at a piece of paper. ‘This landed on my windscreen’  he laughed.

Ah, that’s mi……..’  I said as he threw it on the fire.

 

*This tale may seem vaguely familiar! Because I have too much to do in too little time this week, I’ve had to rework a yarn from some time ago!

      I did write something similar a while ago! Because I wasn’t around yesterday I had to knock something up quickly, and I meant to leave a note on the post but forgot! It’s there now. Cheers Varad.
