Post 1642. Monday April 2
Rosey looked into Gareth’s eye and smiled. He smiled back and gave her a loving wink. Yes, I did say eye not eyes, because one was hidden behind a patch.
She was introducing him to us over a cappuccino at Starbucks. Apparently, Rosey was shopping in the supermarket and someone asked if she knew where the wine was. Silly question! Well, Rosey spun around, and pointed towards what she calls Alcohol Avenue and in the process poked a young man in the eye. At the time he was studying a display of reading glasses. Rather than apologise, she said she hoped they had a range of fashionable monocles!
It seems it was love at first sight. At least it was for her; it was a minute or so before Gareth managed to regain any kind of sight at all!
Gareth seems a nice guy. He’s an accountant which will no doubt please her father. He has a sense of humour which pleases us! Whether or not he’ll be on the scene for long I don’t know; Rosey’s relationships tend to be pretty short lived. I will, of course, keep you informed!

I could see why Gareth would be drawn towards Rosey. Opposites attract, don’t they? Nice one, Keith.

I’d have to say, I love Rosey and i admire Gareth’s sense of humour.🙂 For him, it could easily be said ‘ love is almost blind’. Superb story!

I bet Rosey has left behind a trail of boyfriends she met when she accidentally stepped on toes, poured drinks on laps, and poked guys in the eye. Gareth might want to wear protective glasses and boots when out with her 🙂
